Clemson offers Bryton Constantin

And surging in CBS. I'm no real cb guy for the most part but they do provide some info and n things. More interested in the offer from Clemson. I don't know a tin about the kid. Anyone know about him? Haven't heard him associated with us other than a name .

The extent of my knowledge on him is that he plays on a decently loaded U High team.

Mine too. Vaguely remember him doing pretty well at the Army combine. Maybe not. Don't know much but will ask around

Liked him a lot earlier and he's an instate guy. Aranda is on some huge LB targets for 2019 though.

Agree and what got my curiosity with this news. Is he someone Clemson just really loves or is he a top shelf guy? Can we wait or afford to pass him over.

Clemson doesn't throw around offers like most schools do. It looks like LB is a big need for them this year, so I think Constantin is a take. It's just another example of how they don't stargaze for every recruit, filling needs is just as important.

Agree. Very exclusive offer. I think theyve taken 33 total the last 2 classes. Very USC/Carroll like offer/commit ratio.

I think they're taking more in the 2019 class. But overall, it's more that they don't have the attrition that LSU has, so they don't need to sign as many normally.

I notice you take breaks from the board - come and go. I always enjoy reading your input and the board is clearly better when you are around. For those of us that have been around long enough, the number of posters with good perspective have been overrun by spill over from the rant.
