If Lacy doesn’t come from ole piss he would be a great backup plan.

I doubt hes going to come be part of a 3 horse group. Thats what he is at texas now. He probably wants 150 carries. Hes a good player

Talented but very injury prone

Our transfer running back will be Kewan Lacy
Him and Lane are very close
Him and Lane are very close

You're not going to get a top tier RB to come here unless you let Durham or Berry leave. You can't have all 3. So unless it's a legit upgrade (Lacy) the only RBs were taking are depth pieces

I’ll take Berry and Lacy out of those three.

Ya, we need to learn to run block before any RBs want to come to lsu

Texas RB CJ Baxter has dealt with significant injuries, most notably a season-ending LCL/PCL tear in his right knee during the 2024 preseason, which cost him his sophomore year, followed by a significant hamstring injury early in the 2025 season, limiting his explosiveness and contributing to his decision to enter the transfer portal, according to. He previously had a minor rib injury as a freshman in 2023, per.
Key Injuries:
August 2024: Tore the Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL) and Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) in his right knee during fall camp, requiring season-ending surgery and sidelining him for the entire 2024 season.
September 2025: Suffered a major hamstring injury on the first play of the game against UTEP, affecting his performance and explosiveness for the remainder of the 2025 season.
2023 (Freshman): Left the Rice game with a rib injury after a few carries

injuries have been the issue for Baxter

Yeah, I was rooting for Durham to be a real stud at RB because he was awesome at Duncanville...a really, really good team around him. But the poorly hidden secret is the guy played about half of each game because D was so far ahead he wasn't needed in the 2nd half.
Now, in his own words he said he was hurt worse this season compared to last season. And it always seems to be an ankle/foot. I'm not sure Durham is durable enough to be in the SEC. One year is a fluke...2 years of injuries to similar parts of the body is a pattern to me.
