Woah Kimo Sabi! The only connection is that they went to the same HS but never played together or were in the school at the same time.

Not yet but will on signing day. He loves our rotation of tackles and isnt scared of competition. He loves coach o and aranda. And the oppurtunity in front of him at LSU.

24/7 composite had Mathieu as a 4*, 17th CB in the nation

Exactly. A composite four star, top 250 Rivals player committed to an SEC school before his senior year is not an underrated unknown. There are examples of underrated unknown recruits but Mathieu ain't one. Claiborne and Hester were what you could call underrated unknown players: not highly ranked and jumped into the class in the closing months.

Not to sound like a dick but aren't you the same poster who assured us that haskins was committing to us over Ohio state?

He needs a lot of work on his pad level, but he's got that Glen Dorsey first step where it seems like he just moves through the offensive lineman.

THIS! He looks great when he plays one gap. He has good quickness. But he gets knocked off the ball when he plays two gap and when he's double-teamed. This is due to his horrible stance. His hips are higher than the olinemen backs.

It's going to take a lot of coaching to make this guy college-ready, but it appears the talent is there. He's very similar to Frank Herron.

I'd love to see us get this guy, but if you're looking for him to play in 2016 you'll be dissappointed.

Just read to the end of the thread and saw RDOtiger's post. I agree with that exactly.
