If Williams ends up somewhere other than BR it’s because LSU decided to go with someone they like better.

Our coaches dont necessarily see Kaine as a safety, they need him to come in and camp to see where he's really at, last year gave a lot of doubt he can play safety.
His initial high ranking was based on sophomore tape, 247 dropped him outside the top 200 after seeing his junior stuff

Kaine couldnt commit to us right now if he wanted to, he wanted to pop for A&M a few weeks ago but we told him to wait, now hes looking about popping for Bama

I know, I'm not saying its wrong to go with him but if we do decide to move him to LB. Have a feeling Kamren Kitchens or Kaine would be our backup.

I don't have any specific insider knowledge, but I think this is dead right. I was watching some clips of him recently and i was kinda shocked at how bad he looked. Simply put, he's outgrown the defensive backfield. It's definitely possible to play safety at his size, but he's not the type of freak, fluid athlete you need be to do that. Maybe he could be a solid linebacker, but I don't ever see him being a difference maker in the secondary.

Yeah he looked really out of place at the rivals camp. There's one on one clips on YouTube. And they still invited him to the national five star event after, probably had to offer him that to get him to show up in the first place.
