No lies told! It pains me watching them cover wrs I mean chase them. They never look back for the ball and like 10yds off line of scrimmage it seems every play.

Its hard to replace a guy like Corey with a newbie like steeples. Cory had developed a reputation of putting CBs in the league whether it was all his doing or not. He also was a damn good closer. He got big fish to commit early and usually held on to them. Steeple needs to step up or step out.

Kelly really put himself behind the 8 ball with his defensive staff. Could have been an elite program by year 3 and now it is going to be 2025 or 2026 at the earliest. We will essentially be starting at year 1 next year on the defensive side.
