JK Johnson hasn't been given a transfer rating on 247 yet. Not really sure exactly what to expect on that.
We have 8 transfers ranked now on 247. 6 4-stars & 2 3-stars... 247

Our transfers are elite. And it’s also worth noting that the only 5 star in the entire portal was Travis Hunter. We signed some elite dudes

We're still #3 in the transfer portal rankings, but we should pass up Florida State after JK Johnson is given a rating.
Colorado still has a bunch of guys that aren't ranked yet. They might end up #1 just b/c of sheer numbers.
#1 - Colorado (20 commits) - 71.57 points
#2 - Florida State (8 commits) - 69.27 points
#3 - LSU (8 commits) - 68.10 points
#4 - Michigan (7 commits) - 59.50 points
#5 - USC (8 commits) - 57.23 points

Yeah I think we finish 2 or 3 which is good probably add 2 more LBs. Colorado trying to dump half they're roster and not close to being done. Portal battle of quality is between us and FSU. No knock on CU I understand they need purge that program and change culture after being bad for last 20yrs.

Transfer portal rankings are very hit or miss. I wouldn’t dive too deep into them.

Damn. Colorado may be ok pretty fast with that amount of transfers, but that’s gonna come back to bite them in a few years. I think Dion is hoping for a big improvement and bailing within 2 years for an SEC big money job.

He played 2 seasons at Syracuse and did not redshirt.

IIRC
Duce was a Freshman AA and started every game at Syr over two yrs I believe. Johnson did well this year and had a high recruit rank but was hurt last yr

Most of the guys I saw while briefly scrolling thru are from Jackson State so Im not sure how good those guys will be.

That's a good rating but I'm a little surprised he's not rated higher tbh. He was one of the highest graded CBs in ACC 2 years in a row. Alexander is rated higher than him and he's making a much bigger leap than Chestnut. Seems like that rating is off to me or Alexander is going to be a beast like LSU thinks.

No chance, Chestnut is a superior college player. He’ll be rated a little lower.
