McCallum is not the player Brooks is.

I think some of you are over-hyping him.

Totally different players. Brooks is an extremely athletic player who is going to play safety or hybrid until he bulks up. Great lateral quickness and ability to accelerate to the ball. McCallum is a guy that plays with physicality. The question is if that physical play gets negated when he steps up to a level where everyone is physical. He definitely plays with a real aggression though and I can see him as an SEC level player.

McCallum is a LB, Brooks is a Safety.

A thumper. He may have the best sideline to sideline speed, but it seems like he has the ability to stone any RB in the hole. Go watch his highlights. You will see what I'm talking about.

What's up with Ray Parker showing up at 233 lbs? So much for him being a tackle

His way of saying that he doesn't want to be a tackle. He has said that all along. I said it a couple of months ago that we wasted one here. O needs to find guys who are bodily ready and want to play OT for the LSU Tigers.

Sounds like Parker doesn't want to play in the NFL.

Gotta admire his motivation though. It's one thing to say he doesn't want to play OT. It's entirely another thing to lose 40 lbs and show up to summer camp in tremendous shape.

Kind of early to make this call. He could be a great TE, or he could end up seeing the light and moving to OT later in his career.

I hear he’s up to 6’8” now, he’s growing like a weed.

I said nothing about them playing the same position.

I said Brooks is a much better player period.

Would you say Damone Clark is as talented Grant Delpit? No you wouldn’t.

Similar comparison wth McCallum and Brooks. Brooks is a can’t miss superstar. McCallum is not.
