Stud's endless supply of zebra cakes were not enough to sway him?

I think this thread is a mere reflection of where most guys were already at concerning LSU football. Some are very level-headed. They will be disappointed if Cam goes but still optimistic about the direction of the program. Some have been calling out our decline for several years now. Each time we face difficulties, they declare "the end is near" yet again.
This possible bump in the road changes nothing in the attitudes of 99% of the fan base. We are who we already were.

Robinson's primary recruiter at LSU has been Greg Studrawa, followed by recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson.
Everyone on LSU's staff was recruiting Robinson. The name on 247 means nothing.

It's been Stud. He's the one that has been at all WM games. Les comes once a year or so, otherwise it's always Stud.

I know that, but the whole staff was on him. This isn't an issue of LSU/Stud being bad recruiters.

When did we pull the number one player in the state of Alabama away from Bama? They will have done this 2 out of the last 3 years. So yes , it is a big deal.
Someone stated earlier that we pulled Jamarcus Russell but you know who was the coach at Lsu. I also agree that losing Cam is a big deal, but losing him to Bama is a HUGE deal.
We can't sign all the talent in Louisiana every year, and it's expected that some will go elsewhere. However,we need to keep our TOP guys in state especially the caliber of CR.
I saw somewhere it was posted that CR grew up an LSU fan,and I find it puzzling if that's true how he would choose Bama. There was always a strong hatred towards Bama for me growing up , and it started in the 70's not just when Saban got there. I know He has to do what's best for him, but it's not like LSU isn't an elite program. If we were say Ole Miss, Kentucky, or some other bottom feeder than it would be more understandable.

He does love Stud. We'll see if Stud's track record with the draft keeps him away from LSU. That's Bama's #1 selling point...first round picks.

I'm not about to go through all 63 pages to see if this has been discussed but would everyone be as upset if he chose Auburn or Georgia over LSU instead of Alabama over LSU? Everyone needs to remember we have won a lot of games with average OLine talent the past few years. Whoever we get to replace Cam probably wont be a huge step down in talent or ranking. Yes it sucks we lose a hometown guy to $aban, but LSUs program is in great shape for the future. We finally have talented QBs on the roster and committed which is what has been holding us back more than anything else. Everyone needs to chill out, shite happens
