That's what I'm thinking. If he could still have been at LSU, I don't think he goes to Memphis.

If he did indeed choose Memphis over LSU, then it's not difficult to see why he had so much trouble qualifying.

If he had this much trouble getting qualified, the odds of him staying qualified are low anyway. Best of luck to him.

Ed Alexander and Shelvin both stayed eligible their whole careers. The players at LSU get way more academic support than a lot of these smaller high schools.

So I guess we will save that spot for this year’s class. Could potentially help out in the 22 class as well if we don’t fill them all. 22 is loaded in LA.

Before we start torching this kid- does anyone in their right mind actually think that a football player would go to Memphis over LSU.

Clearly the staff parted ways. Best of luck to the La kid

That would make sense. I'm still happy for him. Now, what do we do with that last spot though?

Looks like I was given bad information. He has wanted to play defense all along but I was told he relented and agreed to come on board as an OT and it was done.

So stupid. O makes it a point to recruit non-sec caliber players.

Y oure right.
and I was still happy to get him for oline depth.

Hate that we missed him But I’m pretty sure 99% of all prospects are choosing LSU over Memphis.

Nice, keeps one spot open in this class. After summer if we feel we have a need somewhere we can go get a guy from the portal. If not can sign 26 in 2021 class. Win win. Is frustrating that we turned away a Top 50 guy like Donell Harris who wanted in the 2020 class because of spots and we ended up having 1 left over.
