Why would he pay for flights from the DMV 4 Times and Stay For a week and thanksgiving with O if he wasn’t interested?

If all that happens, there’s a chance Nuss de commits and signs elsewhere anyway. Basically according to your scenario, we’d be mulling through backup options if Brennan/Slinger/Linehan shite the bed regardless. Therefore, we might as well root for Caleb to commit.

I also think the LSU trio will do just fine and attract top QBs...

Referencing trolling while trolling?

Gotta say, this is a first. Bravo.

Personally, I think once Brady left we kinda fell off for Caleb. I think he’s gonna go to Penn St or Oklahoma

We still have a decent shot though and I’m not saying we’re out of it, I just think Brady leaving kinda hurt us with Caleb

However I think Nuss is going to be a really good college quarterback and is getting better and better. I bet he finishes as a top 5 Pro Style quarterback and a top 100 overall guy

We’ll be good either way

LSU will once again be a bridesmaid over a prized recruit

Yeah LSU never gets big time recruits. Never gonna be able to compete for a championship if we can’t bring in the horses

Only 1 year actually, or could end up being 2 but it’s 3 years out of HS and Rattler is gonna be in his 3rd year when Caleb gets there (if they get him obv) so he’d only have to sit one year

You some secret spy that has access to everyone’s private matters. STFU.

If Caleb commits to Oklahoma in 2021, it will be Rattler's redshirt sophomore season. Caleb will redshirt while learning the offense in 2021. The 2022 season will be a backup season for Caleb and it will be Rattler's redshirt junior season and probably his last season before leaping to the NFL. Then in 2023 Caleb can compete to become the starter.

If, on the other hand, Caleb commits to LSU in 2021, it will be Myles Brennan's senior season and his last season before heading off to the NFL. Caleb will redshirt and learn the new offense in 2021. Then in 2022 Caleb will be able to compete for the starting job and if he wins it, he'll be the starter in 2022, 2023, 2024, before in turn heading off to the NFL.

In other words, if Caleb commits to Oklahoma he probably won't be able to compete for the starting job until the 2023 season. Which means that Caleb will sit behind Rattler in 2021 and 2022, which if my math is correct is for 2 years.

On the other hand, if Caleb commits to LSU he'll probably compete for the starting job in the 2022 season and a full year earlier than if he commits to Oklahoma. In other words, he'll sit behind Brennan for only one year and since one year is one year less than two years, he is better off committing to LSU.

It's not rocket science we are talking here.

Penn State also just hired a new offensive coordinator. Do coaching changes only affect LSU?

Of course you would. There are plenty others like you on this site. Have always been.

Williams has recently risen to the number 1 overall QB on 247. He is being discussed as possibly the number 1 overall prospect in the country. He is currently the number 6 overall prospect in the country and riding fast. Add to that the overwhelming and unmitigated success of the top ranked DT QB over the last 10 years. Yet there is a group who for some unquantifiable reason prefer "Nuss". Amazing!

The amount of people on this board who think rattler will be at Oklahoma for more than 3 years is insane

At this point, I'd just as soon get Garrett Nussmeier. Would seem to be a lot less drama and possibly the better QB.

You base that on what?

So you support the proposition that LSU should only recruit the players that are easy to get? You do know that would eliminate the best players in the nation, right?
