This defensive coaching staff has fallen on its face all year in every single aspect. Everyone needs to be reevaluated. LSU can do much better than this.

Not sure how an asst special teams coach gets tabbed as the CB coach. Cooks isn’t a prize either. Id like to see a proven DL coach come in too

Nah. that was going on before there was ever a mention of his losing interest in LSU. I know I heard a recruiting guy on the radio talking about his senior year being a little bit of a disappointment due to his not giving consistent effort and not being very interested in getting physical. Heard this when I was was on the road weeks before any of the rumors started. I was surprised to hear it.

It sucks, but honestly, with this coaching staff on Defense, why would you stay. I know some changes are probably coming, but the current situation is abysmal.

Im not saying they aren’t good players but LSU is known for producing elite cornerbacks and WR. We need elite, not good. It starts with locking down Louisiana and having the route to Houston be a fertile ground. That little corner of Texas has produced a lot of good players over the years.

I don’t know what elite defense is anymore. In 2019 we had Stingley and Fulton and had the 57th ranked pass D.
