Wow this thread has turned into the boys outside Floyd's Barber Shop discussing the weather.
LINK
This is a potential players article about Brown's fasting and the reaction of a Miami rival.com reporter. Reading this it looks like Miami is getting ripped for showing a lack of respect for his religious practices. Just a little FYI

Did you see how Butler stated his title at the end of the article? "Bryce Brown's mentor/trainer not his street agent/handler."

As I posted before, we are dealing with Christians and they should be treated as such. Any negative comments can be directed at me.

"But LSU is high on his list now," Butler said from his cellular phone Monday night. "Bryce had a great visit to LSU. It was phenomenal. He loved it. LSU is definitely a contender."

Does anyone else find it strange that he talked to Coach Stud on his visit, but not Crowton?

I get the feeling Gary may not be too personable. I remember last season during one of the many games Lee was struggling, one of the announcers asked why Crowton doesn't go down to the sideline to give a pep-talk. He said he didn't feel comfortable doing that. It may be one reason why he's still a coordinator and not a HC

quote:True, and it's so 2007. Really fricking annoying if you ask me. All the conservatives come out of the woodwork and start proclaiming their moral high ground every time a kid makes a brash statement. We're dealing with 17 year olds, here. They're not exactly well thought out adults yet.

He's been a HC.

Thus the use of "he's been" rather than "he is" in my comment.
