That's going to be very scary for defenses when we're down to our 4th string back and they're still getting bludgeoned.
It really doesn't matter how many touches any of these guys get. The reputation of LSU RBs precedes them. NFL scouts know they must be good to play in this crew.

I'm growing tired of Charlie Strong lying to this kid, telling him he's gonna be "the guy" there for 3-4 years, while at the same time busting his arse to get Jamobo and Warren. At least that's my view of it.

Beyond being an LSU fan, I hope for his sake he picks LSU at this point. A signing day switch for a U-High guy and long-time LSU commit would be brutal and Landon Collins-esq--not a perfect comparison, but still. It's not fair necessarily, but if he intended to not go to LSU he should make it clear before NSD if he wants to come home again. NB seems like a good young man and I'd hate for him to get that treatment.

How about just not threatening the kid if he decides Texas is the best decision for himself..? And you do have a point that a switch would be Landon Collins-esq... except for the fact that it wouldn't be like that AT ALL. We already have a better running back committed and that guy LF7.. Don't sweat the small stuff

He could be a big part in one of the best backfields LSU has ever had and do it in his own State. He would also have a chance all 4 years to compete for a NC. It CAN NOT get any better than that.
