Tommy was a top OL in 2020. He redshirted last year and hasn’t played much at all this year. Word on Bama 247 board is they aren’t happy and will be hitting the portal. The brother was decent prospect but nothing like Tommy. They are Longhorn legacies so may go back home.

Trey Sanders hit the portal today as well. Kid has been through a lot. One of the best RB in his class and a bad car wreck sidelined him for 2 years.

Had been wondering where the brockermeyer baws had been.

If I had to guess, Bama and everybody else got bitten by the recruiting sites hyping some TAPPS players.

Private school ball in Texas is largely a joke.

Brockermeyers didn’t live up to hype, but still young and offensive lineman can take time

We don't need any of em. Starting 5 will be back along with likely Shorts, Martinez, and however you view Dellenger/Frazier as backups with good experience. What we got coming through the high school ranks is gold. Sanders had an unfortunate accident that has pretty much ruined his career. Kinda sadly ironic that the debate for RBs that year was who was the best, Emery or Sanders.

I'm with you.

I wouldn't take em. They had the opportunity to come in and play early just like will campbell and jones did.

And the funny thing is, the Brockermeyers picking Bama over Texas was pretty much what got Tom Herman fired (i.e. the belief that he couldn't even recruit Texas legacy recruits), that of course and the fact that he couldn't get Texas "back," notwithstanding Sam Ehlinger's assertions to the contrary.

Haven't heard a word about them coming here, I doubt they will.

My money would be on them transferring to Texas where their dad was a legacy

When was the last time you felt comfortable saying that?

Saban will have to kick a ton of players off the team to fit the size class he wants to sign. He will not not take advantage of the no cap this year. Watch how many outward portals they will have.

The other funny (or is it sad) thing is that they committed to Bama to play for OL coach Kyle Flood (and OC Sark), both of whom left for Texas weeks after signing day.

I agree that they were both overrated
