Shea was pretty adamant on Cullotta that LSU fans shouldn’t lose faith on this recruitment. He didn’t specifically say that Derek would be flipping any time soon, but mentioned that LSU has strong ties at Westgate and that LSU is going to push all the way to the end. Just something to watch.

During a coaching change where the assistant that was from new Iberia and recruited there left for Florida. Give it a little time and see what this new staff can do. So far they’ve shown they are absolutely going out of state and getting some studs if needed. But LSU has some guys they are recruiting at Westgate for future classes they are off to a good start with
