Thanks for info! I think with last season's success and winning two NCs in other sports, LSU is one of the hot schools that players want to be a part of!

This isn’t even close to true. I wish it was. Our NIL stuff is going well but is well behind what A&M is doing. I like our trajectory for long term spending capability but we are absolutely on a budget this cycle and as a result it will cost us some players.

If you don't think McCombs (RIP), Jamail and rest of the "big money boys club" over there will spend whatever it takes, you're kidding yourself.
That said, I'm not happy about it, but just being realistic that UT and A&M have the deepest pockets of anyone in CFB.

UT also owns a ton of land out in the Permian that they license to O&G’s and make BANK… massive recurring revenue stream for the school. Check their endowment growth. It’s stupid.
But thankfully endowment doesn’t equal NIL funds.
