I'm only speculating but this has to be a move
A - for a large NIL deal
OR
B - get with a stud QB to try to be a top draft Choice.
He's getting neither at LSU.

Wow another poster who can predict the future!! Incredible.
Maybe he just doesn’t like atm and he’s tired of instability. He just wants a stable situation and a campus where he fits in better. He doesn’t enjoy “the Aggie experience “. This is coming from people on the atm side

If we start taking multiple older guys out of the portal instead of letting younger guys step up you’re going to see a lot of that talent transfer out. We’ve proven to be able to develop these guys into WR1’s. I’ll trust Sampson/Brown/Parker to step up over the offseason.

Hilton is solid but is he a WR1
So we think we are good
But NOBODY is battle tested
2 VETERAN WR’s would be great

For sure, let’s take 2 veteran receivers out of the portal then be in the exact same situation after next year where we don’t know who we can rely on between the young guys we have now. Have to let the recruited talent show up.

He is going to cost a ton in NIL $$$. Only so much to go around. We have much bigger needs than WR. Kid is going to get 500K from TX.
