I don't want to argue with anyone on here. 99% of recruits fudge heights by 1" minimum.

Whatever you see them listed at you can take off an inch. Minimum.

Case in point, Malachi Dupre has always been listed at 6-4. I'd be willing to bet good $ he will be lucky to measure 6'3" at combine. WR T. Toliver was listed anywhere from 6-4 to even 6-5 and he actually measured closer to 6-3 at combine.

If Robertson is listed at 5'8.5" as I've seen he's prolly even a little shorter. In his highlight videos he is the shortest guy on the field in every game.

Then again...maybe he's grown a bit. Regardless...he's a player!

I'm no mathematician, but it sounds like he's 2 inches shorter than you. amirte?
I meant He's definitely 5'9 maybe a little taller. I said he wasn't much shorter than me, because solo said he was 5'7. That would be much shorter than me.

I always stop listening when someone starts saying something about size.

Skills will trump size 10 days a week.

This dude is just about as skilled as they come.

Literally, it leads me to believe that you have never played sports when someone knocks a player because of his size.

Size is an attribute, it is not a skill.

This dude needs to be a Tiger.

I was labeled as a homer and a Welter hater when I cried for years about how Deon Jones needed to be in from day 1. I literally looked at Debo's prep footage and wondered who in the hell labeled him as a 3 star. Dude was knocking people flat at LB at Jesuit. Then he would line up at WR and go catch deep passes for TD's.

Most people replied...
He has to put on the weight, get bigger..
As if you have to be 250 to be a LB.

Now he is starting at MLB in the NFL, all of 220 lbs. Making 100+ tackles.
So he didn't have the size for the SEC.
But he has the "size" for the NFL.

Drew Brees
Russell Wilson are two of the best in the business at the pro level. Barely pushing 6 feet.
Dude from SD State just broke the All time collegiate Rushing record. Size never stopped him.

If size mattered, Trindon Holliday would have never been allowed to put on a football uniform. Let alone be allowed entry into Tiger Stadium. Oh, and he was in the NFL running back kicks on the regular for short time.

If Holliday had more "skilled" at fielding punts, he would most likely still be in the league, despite his "size."

If you can ball, you can ball.

Period...
End of story.

There are just too many examples to list, throughout all sports.

I have no problem with LSU offering him. He is a player. I think he could be really good as a nickel back on slot guys. I'm sure that is where Aranda would play him.

I'm just telling you guys he would be the shortest schollie DB at LSU since Carlton Buckles.

It amuses me to read the exchanges about a player's height on this board.

I recall even more discussion last year about Lindsey Scott.

But no mistake, Robertson is a top notch athlete worthy of a scholarship offer.

We have at least 3 people with legit, close sauces saying he is at least 5'9", then we have an arse clown with no legitimate information arguing for the sake of arguing. Adkins should probably send him a PM and do some cleaning.

Amik is right around 5-9, give or take half an inch, with long arms and big hands. Vert is around 40, which allows him to elevate and compete for balls most have no business trying for. Amik's acceleration is elite, coupled with a mid to low 4.4 time. If you notice on his film, he blows by everyone then throttles it down to save himself. He played nearly every snap for Thibodaux.

His hips and feet are about as good as you will see. It allows him to change direction, open up and run, and a minimal loss of speed in his transitions. With all that said, his eyes and instincts are his best attributes.

The first time I saw Amik in person for a workout, I told everyone this kid will play 8-10 years in the league. I believe it now more than ever. The kid played 6 games on a partially torn ACL, only to come back 5 months after surgery and destroy LSU's camp. Amik would end up wearing No. 18 in Baton Rouge. Special kid.
