O planned this all along. He wants all of our targets visting other schools this weekend. He thinks a lot of the guys we're after have been to Baton Rouge too much, and believes that absense makes the heart grow fonder, so they let all of our competitors have big recruiting weekends where he knew our guys would go. He knows they will really be missing LSU the entire time.

Only concern with that, is if tdp and emery carry for 500-700 each, we have 3 roster rbs for next season if those 2 decide to go pro. Not that it be warranted to go , just is a possibility. Or if 1 transfers if 1 of the freshman gets serious reps.
Those 2 will be studs for sure, just worried about depth the year before. Our 1 healthy rb in spring game tweaked his hammy in the spring game ya know.

I understand and agree. Moss seems like he will end up elsewhere as of this time. We will see what happens!

Naw, chaperones are hard to find, he took the challenge. Moss just weighing his options, and having fun, which ALL recruits should do, So they have no regrets when they put pen to paper. Moss knows where his heart is, hopefully things go as planned.

Actions speak louder than words in recruiting, A&M visit feels like a Saban compromise. Moss is good, but we can afford to lose him if he wants to go elsewhere so I’m not overly worried about him.

I agree, let Moss walk. We’ll potentially have 2 senior RB’s, 1 junior, and 2 really talented sophomores next year. Add Citizen and potentially a Kadarious Toney type position with Kendrick Law in the same class. Not a whole lot of touches to go around. I would rather use the spot in the portal for someone who can fill a hole right away.

Thanks Iota-recruiting will become interesting as we have some time before signing day. Question: is Maxie Baudoin someone we have on the radar? Has he ever attended a camp or TIGER recruiting event? How does he compare to Hill & Washington? Thanks

Due to the fact many La. recruits read this board. Would rather not compare La. kids in this setting. What I can say is staff is currently communicating with him, this years production will be closely monitored. My apologies for not really answering your question. I can tell you an LSU offer would result in probable commitment. If not, he is likely Auburn bound, with the Seminoles still fighting for him also . Good question though that I get asked frequently by friends.
