No one knows jack $hit till 4:30 today. The only one who knows is Ricks himself. So just sit back and be patient. If he does ink with LSU awesome. If not, CBK has this program in the right direction. LSU will be just fine.

Nick Saban is an all timer, as long as Nick is around, they’ll remain in the mix. After Saban, who knows what happens with them, but as long as he’s there? Saban will be Saban.

No doubt about it.

Sure. But they are not and never will be the juggernaut they once were with back to back to back playoff/championship seasons. Other teams are getting better and Bama is very beatable

Even playing field and their class is head and shoulders the best in the country. Almost passed A&M’s fluke class of last year as the highest rated ever. Bama isn’t going anywhere yet

He may have just hauled in his greatest class ever.

If BoB and Golding are his OC and DC next season with no Bryce Young to bail them out, it won’t matter. Bama was dominant for a decade plus because they had EVERYTHING working together. Great coaching, great talent, great S&C and a rock-solid culture.
They still had talent this season, but it isn’t being developed quite as well and BoB isn’t on the same planet as his predecessors using that talent on the field. UGA took their S&C guy and look at how that has flipped. THEY look like the Bama of the last decade right know because they have everything going at full speed. They are the more physically dominant program. Our young OL and thin DL held their own against them this year for a reason- they aren’t what they used to be, and it’s not for a lack of talent.
Bama isn’t going away, but they are absolutely beatable as things currently stand, even with all of that talent. Now I f Saban makes a bunch of staff changes post-ESD, that can obviously shake things up a lot. If he doesn’t, they are heading toward another season like this one, with more close games than usual and multiple losses.

And they were just as close to losing 4 games instead of 2. When was the last time Bama played that many close games in one REGULAR season? Probably 2010, Saban’s 2nd worst Bama team.

And almost lost 3 other games. Texas, Texas A&M & Ole Miss. Hell, the Arkansas game was a one possession game going into the 4th quarter.

If Ricks goes to Bama so be it. I'm not losing sleep over it.
The coaches know what they are doing and will find someone else.

The common denominator in the Texas A&M and Arkansas games- no Bryce Young to bail them out at the end. That’s 2 close wins against two teams Bama should have dominated start to finish.
Their starter at QB next season may be very talented, but they may also be playing in a BoB offense with no experience. I really hope Saban keeps him. It will be fun to watch them sputter again with all of those 5 stars.

Not sure. They’ll probably get some top guy out the portal if they aren’t confident in milroe or simpson
