Guys, play the game or get left behind.
Right now A&M is playing with a Yankees budget and we have the Double-A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics budget.

Be honest with yourself. Wouldn’t you do the same thing?
Yes they would. And anyone bitching about this must be a communist because this is straight forward capitalism at it finest. They are being paid what the market has decided is their value for the job they are performing. That is 100% capitalism.

Guy not going to the school he prefers because of money is pretty sad.
I don't know this kid's family economic status or how much A&M agreed to pay him, but that could be life changing money for them. There is never a guarantee any player will make it to the NFL, so it is hard to turn down the upfront money.

Wild how NIL went wrong pretty much immediately.
Not really. It was inevitable. There is a lucrative market for talented HS players. The NIL ruling just allowed the framework to exist.

Yeah definitely wouldn’t go to a school that hasn’t put a first round DB into the draft since 2003 and only has had one drafted in the first 64 picks since 2004.Aggies are a joke
If he's good enough he'll be drafted high regardless of a schools draft history back to 18 years ago. It's irrelevant.
Joe Burrow was 13 years from Russell. That didn't mean anything.

It speaks about their player development at that position. You don’t just magically go from being a good high school player to being a stud in college without coaching,if coaching didn’t matter then all 5 stars would be great. If you are an LSU fan you should know this dating back to our QB development under Miles.

You think that court would condone what is going on now?
