I haven't watched the NBA in 20 years. But those early 1980's battles between Philly and the Celtics were incredible. Both were in the Atlantic in the 80-81 season,
both of them were 62-20. In 81 and 82, Boston won 63 games and Philly 58, Philly won 4-3.

In the 81 and 82 seasons, Boston and Philly went 3-3 vs. each other in the regular seasons and in 81 Boston 4-3 and 82 Philly 4-3.

In the 80 ECF, Birds Rookie year, they went 61-21 and Philly won 59 games and Philly won 4-1 in the ECF. regular season was 3-3.
