Lol. I get what you're saying. It would have to be a non sanction LSU event!!!
That's even better!!!!
Dealing with state institutions makes me want to jump off the Mississippi.

Flat fee, drink all you want. Don't know if I could get miles to come though lol. Getting former players will be easy. Current coaches and recruits might be bound.
Do we need them to party? HELL NO

My brother and I would definitely be thrilled for a new bash. Make this happen!

Don't worry about who you get the first year. Get big numbers and then they can't ignore you. Year two you get some
Most of us just want the info in a timely manner.
I'm looking forward to it

Was Stan Harris responsible for this train wreck of an event?

Hard to mess up beer? Thought that was pretty good - and cold.... All day long Baby!
Food could/should have been better. I ate a few plates so can't complain too much but I agree with the overall complaint about food. You drink enough beer it shouldn't matter... Just saying
Interviews were great and the setting was 1st class. Casino setup was ok w me. Got to visit some friends/family and enjoy the day. LSU's best ever recruiting class made it a great event!
I guarantee food will be better in 2015. Squeaky wheels will get grease. Great post!

$150.00 per seat definitely keeps average fan out. If they getting free room why cost so high? The last 3-5 years of Bash attendance could fit in the new room, especially with vendors and such outside of room. Definitely in for TD bash!!

This has the potential to be a huge money maker for the Grid Iron club and for LSU.
People are starved for football and to party.
I don't remember the year but I think the best year of the Bash at the River Center was when they had beers in plastic bottles (deal because of the saints). The food lines were good and plenty of food and drink. The following year they changed the format and it was a disaster with terribly long lines for food and beer (served in little plastic 10oz cups). I believe that was the year where many said okay this is not worth attending. A couple years later was the checkpoint and that was the beginning of the end for many fans.

You could look at it that way but then again everything in life seems to be about using people to make money so deal w it. Also the internet has enough b.s. to keep you from ever leaving home. As for the costs I had an AWESOME time and it did not cost me a penny. I sat in the front row all day long and drank and ate to my heart's content plus got to see all the past Tiger greats being interviewed and saw the baseball and basketball coaches interviews. There was nothing negative to say about the hospitality and ambiance. If all anyone is going to bitch about is the food you can go downstairs at Casino and eat for the $150 you save on entry monies. Maybe even bid on a silent auction keepsake. Maybe you should get out the house next year and live a little!

Yea, after talking to the people I would usually go and sit at a table with, I wont be back. I missed this year due to work issues, but I doubt im going back if it stays at L'Auberge.
most likely, you wont get the option to go back. I know the guy who usually buys the table you sit at pretty well. He hasnt missed a bash since '96. unless drastic changes are made to all of the price/the food/the setup/the quality of auction items he will just buy some steaks and watch ESPNU all day at home.

The food at the casino is downright bad.
