As we know, the 2013 class was consensus top 10.

The 2014 class of Robinson. Epps, Patterson, and Gray is in the 30s on ESPN. I can't find anyone else's class rankings that has all 4 guys.

That said, I think Epps is really underrated because of where he's from. And Gray, wow. If he can keep his head on straight he's gonna be something to watch.

The 2015 class is obviously off to a nice start with Simmons. I think more dominos will fall in that class with another big fish or two.

You can't say enough about the talent Johnny is assembling in such a short time. A class like the 2014 one would have been cause for a celebration in the Jonnson era. Now it looks to be the very least of what is expected under Jones. I'm excited to see all of these young guys but I really hope we can make some noise this year for O'Bryant and Stringer who didnt quit when things looked bleak at LSU

The 2014 class has some solid program players. Robinson has some work to do but he can be really good.

Epps and Patterson will be nice long term players and Gray will be 2 years of epic scoring.

I think 2014 is a solid class, meeting some needs and providing some interesting raw potential. Epps is the guy who intrigues me the most. It seems he blew up over the summer, attracted some nice offers, is still growing and is an explosive leaper. Plus, he's got range out to the three-point line and runs well.

I also read that Robinson has dropped his weight to 290. He had been listed as high as 330. If so, it sure sounds like the kid has motivation and work ethic.

Gray seems like the star of the class, ready to contribute numbers immediately and bringing an excitement factor. And Patterson can be a steady, solid point guard.

I plan on catching a couple of Robinson games in a few weeks when the HS schedule heats up. Of course when you are 7' in HS, I won't be watching too much about scoring, rebounding, etc, because I expect a lot of 2 foot layins or just reaching up and grabbing the ball, etc. But I want to see how he runs the court, how he moves his feet, how agile he is for a guy who weighs about 300, does he pass the ball, etc. I am more familiar with judging football prospects via clips and on site games but I will take a shot at a little basketball "scouting".

Grays last 3 games 63 points, 59, 61! Crazy....... Epps is blocking shots like a mad man averages like 9 a game and scoring 20 something a game and rebounds in the mid teens per game..... Very underrated. This class is solid & with the players they will be surrounded by will make them even better. Looking good for LSU BB!

I also read that Robinson has dropped his weight to 290.

I've heard something similar too. Robinson said in an interview just a few weeks ago that he's under 300 lbs. Good for him.

I'm most interested in Epps though. Like others said, he has potential. I'm really gonna try to go see him play this season. Almost every program needs guys who will stay 3-4 years, and this class gives us that.

2013 and 2014 will give us a solid foundation for our first Kentucky-esque class of one-and-dones in 2015

Johnny has done a great job bringing all of LSU basketball back together.
Trent was nothing short of a jerk to anybody that played for and had anything to do with the heritage of LSU basketball.

I loved the way Malik Newman talked about us. Something along the lines of he can tell something great is forming here and it would be awesome to be a part of it.

Just wanted to leave this here. Josh Gray has played super well. Through 12 games, he's only had 1 one bad game and 2 okay games. The rest have been great performances.
