I was at the game on the Barbe sideline and Manziel was not on the Barbe sideline. I also saw Trey Quinn's dad after the game on the feild and he was not wearing a A&M hat

Not saying Jarvis Landry isn't good but his senior year he only had 800 total yds that's rushing an receiving combined.

You do know Jarvis qb the year before was the LA player of the year. Quinn wouldnt put up those same numbers if his starting qb graduated last year

What are you talking about? Quinn's qb before the present one was Jared Foster the LSU baseball player who was an all star himself. He has exceeded his numbers each year and will continue to excel regardless who his qb will be.

You are talking as if Jared foster wasnt a upperclassmen, or was chopped liver. THe bottom line is there was a huge dropoff at qb Landry's Sr year. They went from State champs to average. There wasnt any dropoff at Barbe's qb position. Landry would have put up the same big numbers he put up every year, with Foster or Manziel jr. When Quinn becomes a 5 star, breaks Julio Jones record for rec and yards, and become the Under Armour game MVP, and win multiple state championships, then talk to me. . Hell Landry was getting PT on state championship team in the 8th grade. If Quinn is just as good as Landry, why is Quinn considered a top 100 prospect, and Landry a 5 star?

Guys, c'mon...this is over the edge. It's apples to oranges. I've seen both play in person and they're both great and extremely talented players. It's like comparing Manning and Brady. I was thrilled that Landry signed with us and really what he's done so far is only the tip of the iceberg as to what he's capable of doing. I hope Quinn decides to come to BR, he's an amazing talent as well and he may be the beneficiary of having a more polished passing offense by the time he gets here.

Now that we're throwing the ball, he will be a tiger! Best hands I've seen in a long time. Once moffitt gets a hold of him watch out. And forget about Desean flipping. He's excited to b going to Lsu.

Quinn hasn't played his Sr year yet.

Plus he's white

As asinine as what LE just said sounds...I've been following recruiting for awhile and I don't recall a white WR ever approaching 5 stars. Always a solid 4 star with a motor that never quits and great effort

Quinn should be in the 5 star discussion at least and is a must get next year.

Also Landry was a 4 star the entire process. He didn't get the 5th star until the UA game right?

Did Neville knock Landry out of playoffs a few years ago? Maybe Landry's senior year at Lutcher?

Neville beat them 42-0 in an ice storm. Neville was a spread team and didn't throw a single pass.

Seen them both play in person

Quinn>landry

Good problem to have @ lsu. Like someone said earlier, quinn is doing it against the toughest competition in the state. Faster, bigger, ive never seen him drop a pass, ( jarvis never dropped passes in hs either) and his body control is unreal.

He will be the first 5 star WR. No doubt about it. His tape speaks for its self. Just watch it
