Which in state recruit will rally the other recruits and convince them to stay home and hold it down for their home state?

I think that guy will be Speedy Noil. If we get him locked up soon, I could see him swaying all of the top guys to stay in the boot

It's news to me that Nick Saban stole Lacy from Miles, I didn't know Miles had interest in that student.

I haven't followed recruiting much for 2014. Willis is Landon Collins' brother. So why do many of you think he is an LSU lean? Why is he different than nkiemdiche?

We sent Crowton to Dutchtown and he did attempt to recruit Lacy late in the game. Which was like watching Earl Lane attempt to coach the DL if you get my meaning.
But we definitely did offer the kid and recruited him, however half-heatedly.

Lsu is in great shape with this class.
Also, DP ran a story after NSD that since Saban has been at bama, they have only signed 4 out of 55 players who held committable offers from lsu as well; 1 of the 4 DID NOT include Eddie Lacey.

Untrue. Lacey never held a committable offer due to his grade situation. Somehow, Saban cheated, I mean utilized his greatness to get him qualified.

The biggest issue this article doesnt address is Frank Wilson. The majority of these kids will come here for Coach Wilson. Its not just Miles vs Saban.

While i agree, we have limited spots and positions of need that will come from oos. It sucks, but we cant keep other schools from getting good players. We just dont have room for them all. Quite a few schools will land a player and think LSU cant keep the fence up, which will be bogus.

Articles like this one and the "UT can build pipeline into La." will be commonplace in a talent-rich year like this.
The schools we hate the most will be mentioned because they (and everyone else) are after La talent......the states of Florida and Texas go through it EVERY year.
La and LSU are different. We are the only flagship school in a top 5 'talent per capita' state. Our fans will go postal if Miles 'loses' Fournette, Robinson, Jones or Willis. But that is the way it is.
We steal guys from places we shouldn't. Sam Montgomery, Ego Ferguson, Greg Gilmore, and __any___ from Tx or Fla are good examples.
Should UF fire Muschamp for losing Fla talent to an OOS school? No. Should UT fire Mack Bro.....well maybe, but it's not due to recruiting.

After going to that website and reading the trash from the gumps made me laugh. Trashing us and sounding off how great they are but yet they are missing one important detail. Every team that has had dominance in college football has lost it and the more arrogance they portray the harder we are going to laugh when Saban leaves and the gumps get their asses handed to them. The whole damn state will be on suicide watch. Death by arrogance=PRICELESS!
