I still remember people bitching because we gave wing a scholarship. I'm waiting for those to come back

Glad to have him. If he's anything like Wing he will be a huge weapon and a tremendously valuable asset.

Jamie Keehn Video

He breaks the 5 second barrier a few times on his hang time, and hovers between 40-60 yards

Are people stupid enough to think that Brad Wing will hang around for the full 4 years? If this new guy red shirts, he might be called on sooner than any thinks. The coaching staff is not ignorant of the fact that Brad could leave early.

Total waste. Our offense will be so good we only need a pouch punter.

He's from Australia, I think that is the closest you can get to a pouch punter.

As much as its fun to make fun of a lot of the time its great to see that Miles really puts a great deal of emphasis in special teams. !!

Which is completely opposite of the regulars one this board. I read Agee certain people poking fun at the fact that Reid Ferguson was in early.

I'm not sure if many people realize how hard it is to do what those guys do. You can bet your arse that as soon as someone is in the game that can't get the ball to the holder or punter, people will scream because Miles sucks at recruiting.

No, it's not too early to offer this guy because he's probably a project. I'd imagine he'd need time to adjust. Wing had that time playing ball at Parkview and redshirting. This guy probably needs the time to learn the spot. Wing had 2 years left if LSU is lucky.

2 years ago you people were bitching about how terrible Helton was and composure about Miles not putting emphasis on ST. Now that he is, people are making back handed comments are just flat out disagreeing/complaining about the pickup.

Hey, I have an idea. How about letting everything play out and hopefully he'll turn out as good as Wing and hope every snap is perfect.

I wasn't joking last year when I said that Crappell would be the toughest on the team to lose to injury...although those that said Jefferson probably thought I was

Doesn't look that way to me. hmmm.. anyway the are calling out his distances and the are good but I don't see anything that makes me think he is as good as wing. Not a knock because Wing is the best or second best in the country.

That post made me laugh.

You know how hard it is to get a kicking job in the NFL? Even great punters have a hard time making it in the NFL. Most NFL teams have their punter for 15 years solidified...
