I feel bad but I actually laughed when I heard they wanted him to play LB. If anyone has every really watch him play a game and not just highlight videos vs crap competition, you’d see that he is not a physical player. He’s a big, strong kid but he steers clear of contact on offense and defense. I just don’t see him as a special teamer, unless he the return guy, and I definitely don’t see him sticking his nose in to stuff the run. Just my 2cents.

It will be a very tough transformation, a lot of folks don't even realize he's never taken a snap at LB. I think he worked out at a 7 on 7 type event at LB this summer but that's about it. He will take a couple years to get adjusted at minimum to LB in college.

I hope he doesn’t get lost in the shuffle or wash out before his playing time is done.

Just seems like kids that go to college and switch positions end up switch multiple times in some cases. Hope he finds his groove at LB and doesn’t bounce around. He’s a great kid. Best of luck to him.

actually not always true. I graduated from there with Brian Kinchen and Oliver Brown. Both went to the school from at least 7th grade on. Chad Loupe(LSU QB) and Brad Banta(USC TE) went there from elementary school on up. Now if you are just referring to recent athletes like Big Baby or Tim Williams, I'm not sure.

he has offers from Alabama S

this has been discussed before on this board. A so called "Alabama offer" general really isn't an offer for these middleing type players. It really is just a statement from bama that they may have some interest in you if other recruits don't pan out.

Unless the middling player commits to us.
