Would he have been able to compete for playing time immediately in LSU's backfield?

Clemson is located in a beautiful part of the country and he'll visit some great stadiums. In sure he'll enjoy his experience outside of La just fine.

He'll be a senior next season. He came in the same class as Fournette.

Honestly it is a down year for RB's. We have a stable of them right now, and in my opinion an under rated rb due to injury already commited. Don't forget the guys in Ducre and Brousette that have hardly seen action and were 4* out of high school that will be 4-5yr guys.

You think Clemson, SC is nice? I've been there. It's kind of near some hills outside the Appalachian, but it's more like a sterile boring Tuscaloosa.

Uh, no. It's exactly what a lot of young, black kids are looking for. Pretty girls on the lake, a lack of concrete, steel and trash and not a gang in sight. Not to mention, it's not lost on the Moms that their boys will spend the next 3 years somewhere other than a city.

I wonder about you folks sometimes.

Clemson is like my hometown of Franklinton LA. If you bat your eye you will miss both.

Our running game is going to be awful after next season. Better get 3 blue chip RBs who can tear the SEC up immediately as freshman.

I mean it certainly can't hold a candle to the natural beauty of Baton Rouge

This is a positive to a lot of people, especially if they are used to being crowded by people all the time.

I love LSU and loved my time on campus but Baton Rouge itself is not exactly a place of beauty in general.

But I doubt most 4 and 5 star football players make their decisions based on locale, however. I'm sure Clemson's recent appearances in the NC games has as much to do with his decision as anything else.

Hopefully this is the last damned thread started about the kid. He wants to go elsewhere, good for him. He wants to be a smartass to LSU on the way there, frick him.
