Actually Arnold to Auburn news makes me sad that we don’t play Auburn again this year. Since LSU made Arnold their bitch a few weeks ago. What makes you think Arnold could even remotely challenge Nuss for the starting job?

I'm sure that's what you said about Burrow and Daniels after their 1st starting season at LSU, there 2nd yr they boy won the heisman, and if it wasn't for a HISTORICLY bad defense last yr, they both would've won natty! This was Nuss's 1st yr starting since high school 4 yrs ago, similar to Burrow. He did great considering. He just needs to cut down on the INTs and we'll be good.

You could tell Burrow was magical in his first year tho, it was very evident he had “it”.
Less so with Daniels, but his dual threat run ability helped him out.
Nuss hasn’t shown anything. Bad pocket composure. Bad footwork. Bad throws. No running.
To me he is neck and neck with like a Miller moss who just signed with Louisville. Sounds about right for nuss too. A mid level ACC school seems like his ceiling.
Id rather take a swing with someone else. We know with nuss at the helm the absolute best we can be is a 2 or 3 loss team and probably on the outside of the playoffs

We don’t know any such thing, especially not without seeing what other players they get in the portal, how Nuss develops in Year 2 (like pretty much every starting QB has over the last 25 years), and how all the other young players on the roster (including the incoming freshman) develop. With better luck with injuries, LSU could have been a 10-2 team this season. You may have seen something in Burrow and Daniels, but I seriously doubt you saw them winning the Heisman and leading LSU to #1 in the country in scoring offense. Even granting Nuss isn’t at that level, he’s still capable of making greater progress than you are giving him credit for.
