Man I can't wait to see franks at lsu. Hope a good year from Harris doesn't scare him away though. After a year of redshirting this dude is gonna be a stud

Was referring to Cam Newton for one.

Make no mistake DT or Pro style, you have to have a stout OL and that has been the problem.

I think we addressed that this year and I think the offense will improve over the next few years.

I rather the DT personally. A lot of the bigger schools have had success with them. As long as they are accurate passers the running is just a bonus. Seeing the whole field and checking down equals success.

Blake Sims

Rakeem Cato

You know what these guys have in common, they are all dual threat, all top passers, and all won their division or conference.

Nothing is wrong with dual threats. As a matter of fact, unless you have an Alabama level of defense like in 09, 11, and 12, you better have a dual threat if you want to win the championship. Don't believe me, look at the history of college football at least dating back to the 90s. If they weren't a top level defenze, or had a dual threat QB, they didn't win shite.

LSU gets too many project dual threat QBs with no one to develop them. Now that we have Cam, we should see marked improvement. Also, it does have something to do with the puckered a-hole of an offensive scheme we use.

I'd love to see LSU offer Jacob Eason even though he's committed to UGA. He's not from there and who knows anything could happen ha! I really like the throws he makes.

I don't care how you classify the QB recruit. I would just like to see CLM get someone that can actually play the position well. Facets of the recruiting, offensive scheme and level of development have all been poor or inconsistent dating back to 2007.

They obviously must have liked his ball security on hand-offs

By the time he hits campus, he and Harris will be 2 years apart. If he red-shirts, they'll be 3 years apart. It should work out.

Paradigm. The word you're looking for is paradigm. The word paramount means "most important" or "of the highest importance." Paradigm, on the other hand, means "a model" or "a worldview or set of theories."

Yes sir...I'll never understand why people addamantley think you need a pro style for a good offense. Dual threat is always a bonus.

Wait...I know the answer. Think I'll keep that to myself. Lol

All DT QB means is he's an athlete. Russel Shepard comes to mind.

Couldn't agree with you more. The problem is if you're a highschool qb putting up numbers and you can run at all then you are lucky enough to be labeled dual threat, Regardless of what kind of system you were running in highschool. The sad truth is that half of the kids coming out of highschool today are no threat qb's but because they have speed are labeled dual threat.

Comprehension and communicate- should be able to comprehend signals from sideline and communicate them to team, especially when changed prior to snap. Then read more than one receiver and escape pocket as a last resort. Harris struggles greatly with the c & c part of this. Hopefully the light will turn on soon.
