If House returns as DC, we may not see a punt all year next year. No need for a PR.

Yes and No. Yes, if they visit and trend anywhere else but LSU. No, because these athletes almost always are gonna look around. Do you buy the first car you see? Or do you do more research on that car? Do you research other cars similar to the car you want, to see which is your best option?… The same applies to how these recruits view their next destination. The same is true with kids you recruit out of High School, and dudes you get out of the portal. What you mainly focus on is which program is trending where. Which program is being spoken about most highly amongst experts and the recruits themselves, and where the predictions are expecting them to land? LSU still very much has the edge and they’re trending for him. IF that changes you’ll know because the staff will start looking elsewhere at a very noticeable rate, and the experts will have more vocal concerns. Very rarely do things happen out of nowhere, there’s usually predictive patterns we can follow to get a mostly accurate guesstimate. Follow the guesstimates, it’s still at LSU.

Punt returns is a position of need.
How about get the athletes that can actually make a team punt before we start worrying about returning them.

After watching Koy Moore try to catch punts I expect AU to go all in here.

We probably had fewer than 100 yards TOTAL in PRs...I'd say it's a need.
Do you remember how Honey Badger and Tre could turn a game around on 1 play?!

You have to worry about every single recruit now! NIL offers will change many players mind in a minute

This is correct. For the 2nd year running, Auburn is moneywhipping their way into a solid class. If they put in a "damn strong offer" I'm not sure he's worth the match. No sense overspending for a return man rendered useless by teams that kick touchbacks and directionally punt well. Not sure he upgrades our wr room. Spend but don't overspend type of kid for me.
Lsu shouldn't overpay for Thomas but they better land some studs on defense.
