Matt Forte was a Tulane product. Sometimes players are just missed by LSU or they develop a little later and aren’t that noticed in HS.

Tulane always has good RB dating back to Mewelde moore who Saban didn’t recruit

Matt Forte was an incredible player at Slidell. Big, physical, fast, he was the total package even back then. He had to split time with a kid named Melvin Riddell until his senior year. That probably hurt him some in recruiting.

Orleans Darkwa is a real RB for Tulane that played in the NFL.
