If he’s going to be out next season anyway maybe just don’t enroll anywhere? Then they could potentially put him on a rehab program to be monitored at a local facility, then go to juco as a true freshman the following season to get some innings.

That's what I was thinking, a gap year thing.

But he could even go to JUCO and still redshirt too. He'd be able to get competitive innings in the fall and preserve a year of eligibility. Go to a decently competitive summer league the following summer and get ready for the next spot.

It would take finding a JUCO willing to take him only for a redshirt year, but I feel like that could be done.

He’s going to JUCO to not only rehab but bat. Jay wants him to be a fielder/batter more than a pitcher at this time. Decision will come on LSUE or BRCC. Favoring LSUE.

Had Tommy John the week of semi finals. He has decided to go to LSUE.

LSUE will be a great spot for him to redshirt and get stronger and get a bunch of reps. Wishing him luck and hopefully he lands at LSU when it's all said and done.
