BTW Looks like he has some baby fat to lose but he could probably play at 350ish

Who knows, maybe Turner has been working to get Neal to LSU.

How solid is Turner to us?

I’m more so curious about Charles Cross the Fla St. commit that was said to be trending to us. Got a new crystal ball the other day also but it’s VIP. Evan Neal is a monster though, really hoped he was the surprise lineman folks were talking about because he’s visibly more physical than the other elite guys.

I posted this a while ago but I did my best to recruit him at the barber shop lol. He was in New Orleans visiting family (his sister lives there). He seemed like a really good kid though. He said "yes sir" when talking to me and I'm only 34 lol. I told him how terrible of a person saban is and not to trust what he says.

As the other guy said, it appears they were all for State. One way you can kind of tell is look at the percentages reported. Cross is showing as 50% FSU & 50% State. When you click on his CB predictions it shows 5 FSU picks and 3 State picks with 4 showing up as either VIP or "Zero Zone" (I have absolutely no idea what this mean!).

So...since the split is 50/50, you can assume the zero zone pick was FSU and the three new ones were State.

Can Evan Neal move? Does he have decent feet?

He's slightly above average for a man of his frame. Not exceptional, or very good, IMHO.

He can easily improve that and with his height it most definitely isn't something to scoff at.

Worth noting while tall, he's not very long and his wingspan seems a little short for his height. As far as CFB goes, that's insignificant when his agility does have that much room to improve.

He does have excellent posture and keeps a very good base however. Technique is average with very strong hands and upper body.

Looks like a project. He has the size and strength and would probably do well in run blocking at the collegiate level right now, but pass blocking he will get eaten alive by quick dlinmen and d ends. Moves like he has weights strapped to his feet. Not much lateral quickness. Uses his hands okay. But just slow to get his hips turned and slow to move laterally. Maybe getting with a good strength and conditioning coach his lateral movement could improve and getting turned at the hips quicker. I'd rather LSU get OT's that are more college ready, quicker laterally and not so slow footed.
