I'd have a talk with the players and I'm sure BK would weed out the bad seeds. Matthews wanted to be here so bad but LSU wouldn't get into the bidding war and from what I understand Jacoby was basically bought for $350k. But I know he wants to come home.

Jacoby Mathews has been in contact with several freshman on our roster. Don’t be surprised to see him back.
I'd shite myself if we go into 2023 fall camp with Desmond Ricks, Toviano, Harris, Welch, Austin, Gardner at corner, and Burns, Matthews, Jackson at safety. Hell, they might slide Toviano to safety if we do pull in all those guys.

I was reading that he was crying when he told the coaches he wasn't coming. $350k lump sum really is life changing for poor families. Hopefully he can come home now.

Nah, we okay. We got the better LB out of Matthews vs. Perkins by a mile. Perkins is Honey Badger reincarnated at LB. He makes an impact play no matter where he's at on the field on almost every play. He's absolute havoc. Going to be up there with our greats like Devin White.

Alignment means everybody is bought in. CBK's patience with KB/J.Emery is an example of how he has every player's back.
I think you have to consider that there are guys in the locker room who will police each other and show any kids who might sing "mi,mi,mi,mi" when they get here how to get into alignment and commit to the rest of the guys on the team, themselves, and the Program.
I'll wager CBK/Staff is a little more open to considering kids who might have issues than we think.

Foster isn’t leaving A&M. The advantage here will be current seniors and juniors in the Houston area not transfers. Thinking DJ Lagway and The Woodlands QB Mabrey Mettauer. They actually play each other this Friday night and I plan on seeing it.
