btw julio is more talented than any player on ur roster
...and still with Bama's pathetic offensive scheme, he couldn't score over the last 9 games and only had 4 TDs all year.
That pretty much says it all.

I've heard this before but seen NO evidence to support it. Seems like a GUMP flame job to me.

1. of course the gumps are pissed. they know RR will be a tiger, and the shame shaddow of looseing to utah, wait- owened by utah.
2. RR will be a tiger. it's the differance between playing for a nc with the tigers or watching the tigers play for a nc on tv. wanna know what that feels like call joe mcnight.
3. gumps
you know lsu will whip your arse next year anyway.
4. RR IS A TIGER RR IS A TIGER RR IS ATIGER! see we can say that because this is a lsu board. but yall stay naw, yall entertaining. make us laugh like yall did in the utah game.

This thread shows EXACTLY why it's not cool to shoot the breeze with Bammers or any other teams' fans on OUR FREEKIN LSU RECRUITING BOARD!!! ALL you Tiders get the hell outta here!!!

See what I mean. These gumps still live in the past when Bear Bryant was the coach. Jarret Lee would still be better than the starting QB at Bama next year. The more I hang around these bama gumps the more i understand why the germans lost the war.

In terms of ability in a vertical passing game though, Toliver has the ability to be one of the most dangerous deep threats in the country with his height and speed

Seriously?
32 catches, 500+ yards and 4 TDs in very limited time.
16 yards per reception.
Pretty good for someone who's not dangerous in the deep passing game. Granted his freshmen stats were basically in mop-up time, but 10 catches for 247 yards and 3 TDs against teams that still had first team defenses in is pretty impressive. The difference between 2007 and 2008? He had a QB that could get the ball deep down the field on the money (Perrilloux).

Just read all 8 pages of posts and I did note the tension on both sides and one fan saying watch out for OU. But remember fellows he said all along NSD or longer this will go on but Miles today did one hell of a job recruiting(Lafell) And word here is Beware of the Hat.

7 pages and zero answers to the question.. Good grief, I never had any idea LSU fans hated Alabama so much, and vice versa.

what ia funny is lee is trying to say randle will have a better chance to catch more balls at bama. what he doesn't want anyone to know is that
LSU passing offense last year with all our qb problems and 2 freshmen with no experience was ranked 71st and 201 yards a game.
while bama with a senior qb and 3 year starter came in at a whopping 97th with a total of 169 yards, damn that is impressive. guess what, that was only 2 spots ahead of auburn who finished 99th and 163 yards a game and everbody knows how bad their qb's looked this past year.
LINK
also another stat that bama doesn't compare with LSU is the 21 touchdowns that were thrown this year compared to the 11 for bama.
LSU
gumps
So do you think alabama passing numbers will be better next year? when they will be plying a qb with no experience. and lee, mcelroy 20 attempts in 2 years doesnt make him experienced. we have jefferson who has now started 2 games and played 3 quarters in the other one after JL got hurt, he has game time experience, not much, but he has it. more then you can say for any bama qb.

If you want some answers (there aren't many because the Randle family is so quiet) check out my thread at the top. I'm doin my darnedest to keep that a clean, rational thread and nix debates like have taken over this thread.
But there is a basis for these debates. It's a good one, it just takes away from the point of this thread.
