Sylve red shirted... and moved to DB... whats the problem w/ that? Dont know how he will turn out.. but isnt it to early to say he wont be good?

Saban plucks 5 star DB's off of trees. Sylve is going to be a career return specialist unless he develops elite coverage skills in very short time.

Lee, any word on Bradley Sylve and how he's doing in practice? Earlier All-SEC team appearance?

He got moved to DB. Going to be hard for him to crack the lineup

A 5'11 converted WR next to the type of DB's Saban has recruited?

I'm going to lean towards him not getting a whole lot of playing time.

I could be wrong, but the writing on the wall at the moment.....

It is too early to tell for Sylve and Greg Robinson. Sylve would have been redshirted at LSU too, don't think it is far to call him a bust just yet. I just don't think he'll be a high impact player, which is the type of recruit that you hate to lose. In that sense it is fine that he is a Bama.

Sylve offered nothing except straight line speed as a WR, it's hard to imagine he is going to be fluid enough to be a CB. Career special teamer at best, but every team needs a few of those guys.

Arenas was already in place when Saban took the Bama job. Shula didn't bring in the type of DB recruits that Saban has brought to Bama. It's like having a Jacob Hester come to LSU this year as a 2 star recruit. He more than likely would have been lost in the shuffle of our current running backs despite possessing all of that hidden talent.

Who didn't do a damn thing at lsu. He salvaged his career playing track.

He did kneel at the 1 yard line though

take it FWIW, my buddy is a coach on a sports staff (not saying which one) for Dutchtown, and he told me the same exact thing about LC. HEAVY bama lean. LSU has work to do

IMO, if he doesnt commit, he was never ours
