I just can't comprehend how a Louisiana kid would not stay and play for LSU. Just can't understand that. Blows my mind.
A lot of kids don't grow up LSU fans or fans of college football at all.

Thank you. Finally someone adds some real life logic. The rant acts like every graduating senior in the country cares about college football and specifically the college football team in their hometown. Not every kid likes football, particularly the ones that played it their whole lives and become one of the best at their level in the country.

I can't believe all of you saying he is going to bama. There is literally nothing besides his girlfriend that points to bama. Every single other thing points to lsu.

I especially like the "gut feeling" predictions. No logic or analysis of fact. Just a flat out guess. Logic points to LSU. He has childhood friends on the team, it's 15 minutes from home, his parents want him close to home, LSU DBs just won the Thorpe and Bednarik for the 2nd straight year, playing time is there, and Saban took his in home prior to the Under Armor game assumingly to make up ground before his announcement. Bama offers nothing lsu cannot. The only thing bama has in their corner is the GF and hopefully his parents educated him on how ridiculous, juvenile, and stupid it would be to follow a GF to college.

I went to Dutchtown and played football there and now have a sibling that goes to Dtown. Landons parents really like LSU and miles. Landon likes both schools. From what I am hearing I would not be surprised if he chooses Bama. Seems like his girlfriend will have a lot to do with decision. I will try and get more info!! Also heard this has alot to do with the girlfriends mom not being offered job on LSU womens basketball team when the new coach came in. Take it FWIW but this is info I am getting!!

I hope not. Hopefully he is trolling everyone and is not near as in love with her as he is leading on. If he in fact is not trolling, then he is a walking talking domestic violence case waiting to happen.

He is a Louisiana kid though. Would rather have seen him wear LSU gear or have this as his twitter pic instead of him wearing BAMA threads.

Could his twitter pics possibly be a setup for his dramatic hat moment

wow now that a really good reason to choose where you play your college football, your girlfriends mom has a gripe with lsu tiger womens basketball.
Landon can't be making a decision on that basis.

anyone here think that Landon Collins is scratching his head about all the chatter on Keil?

Or do you think it is a relief, to him that he is not getting talked about by the fans, so much.

One of these does not belong.......LC better pay attention to the success of the others, with the exception of maybe McKnight.

McKnight was not considered a success at USC.

Certain insiders think the gf will not affect the decision as much as we all think. I hope so.

I also have cousins that attend DTown and say basically the family wants Landon at Lsu and the gf is pushing hard for bama. It will come down to who has more influence. Let's hope it's his family.

Dude needs to wise up. His arse-chasing days are just beginning. Plus, with his future, she would be foolish not to ride his coat-tails whever he wants to geaux.

I do and I have Scout too. How bout you?

I also have 3 cousins that attend DTown and know Landon and have been saying what DP said and reiterated at Christmas that the only thing in Bamas corner is the GF. DP news wasnt breaking info or anything. It's basic common sense based on the situation. If the GF is the sole reason for considering bama, then it comes down to influence; family or GF.

So in closing: frick off

Just a question out of curiosity given that this "GF" is brought up all the time. Is she an athlete? Is Bama supposedly offering her an athletic scholarship?

It would be pretty stupid to go to a college, 100's of miles away for a girl. Being a stud athlete in college usually gets you many girlfriends, and then when you get drafted, more girls. Stay at home and play for the 2003,07, 11 champs. LSU owns BAMA. Could be 8 out of 10 after Jan 9th.
