I've been waiting to hear how Orgeron went to Bay St Louis and met with Brennan , but it's been nothing but crickets.
That's pretty telling to me, and I'm pretty disappointed in Orgeron if we lose him. I'm not pro Orgeron or anti Orgeron but this would be a major screw up to lose Myles, and why hasn't he gone and straightened this out?
If I'm Orgeron, I'm at Brennan's house the next day after the Tua offer, and I'm telling Myles that he is my guy, and the offer to Tua was nothing more than posturing with Bama to get Kiffin to LSU sooner.

Did Orgeron even talk to Tua before sending the offer? Brennan was better in the Elite 11, Tua had a perfect day on the last selection day to sneak in.

I agree. The staff has not handled his recruitment well at all. If this kid goes somewhere else and becomes a star, the fanbase won't forgive O.

Im thinking that this might be the gameplan unfolding.. Orgeron comes out weeks ago saying LSU will recruit a Pro style QB then changes to needing a dual threat QB instead... sounds to me as if this all meets the new criteria of the new offensive coordinator whoever they may have in mind, rather it be Kiffin or someone else...Brennan might have been told this already and that he is still welcomed at LSU but is open to seek elsewhere... not hearing anything from Orgeron and no home visit to settle Brennan and family seems to fit what is happening... who knows....

Whether he finished 1st, 6th, or last is peripheral. Through all the coaching turmoil he immediately voiced his commitment. Some strong reciprocation would be in order from CEO.
