It all works out in the end, but certainly makes it difficult to understand some of the decisions in the 2018 recruiting cycle when the LSU staff knew the facts regarding the suspension and with Toliver/Jackson both leaving.

Telling Goodrich that they didn't have room for his is ridiculous. But Surtain being "all in" for over two years and to switch the night before just sucks

I don't see this situation happening again. It happened more than a few times under Les and last year under O. Wouldn't be surprised to see them get off a more coveted recruit if they don't sign early and immediately take the next in line recruit who wants in. Just can't take the chance right now.

I agree. It was a harsh lesson to learn but you have to hope that they'll know better this time around.

Now that's overreacting. They had to see the Surtain Jr. recruitment through to the end. I don't blame them for waiting on him. They just should've hedged by signing Goodrich.
Even with Fournette we took Darrel Williams in the same class.
