An interesting nugget about Demouy Kennedy

I just spoke to my friend who is extremely close to Demouy Kennedy and he confirmed that he will be there this weekend. I asked him if he was just taking the trip for the fun of it and he said absolutely not. According to him, Bama wants him to play in the middle and he wants to be an edge rusher, which is what LSU is offering. He said Demouy absolutely loves Aranda and likes how they utilize the edge rusher in different sets.
I asked him would he be shocked if he committed to LSU and he said absolutely not. I asked him if he had any knowledge of Demouy being a silent commit and he said no, but that wouldn't surprise him. He added that LSU is the only school he is visiting which I thinks says a lot.
With all that being said, the top players in Alabama face a tremendous amount of pressure to sign with an in-state school, especially those committed to Alabama. I would be surprised if he switched, but this is recruiting and nothing is official until the letter is signed and a lot can happen between now and then - a lot! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed because he's a game changer!

Really disappointed when he committed to them as soon as he was offered but thinking back it could've just been peer pressure from his surrounding so lets see if O and A can pull something out this weekend

When he committed to Alabama he clearly stated that he was done, but apparently things have changed. He's always loved LSU so time will tell.

That's interesting, but what is more interesting is would he be a take at this point in time? Would he get in over other edge rushers that we have committed now especially with how things are looking for Phillip Webb?

Is this a Saban recon mission?

I thought he said he wanted to play inside and LSU wanted him to rush off the edge, and that was the reason he committed to bama over LSU.

Webb is a tremendously talented player, but Demouy is a stud too! Not to mention, LSU has a history of plucking some studs out of Mobile like JaMarcus Russell, Chevis Jackson, Nick Farrell and Cardale Flott. It's recruiting, so who knows what is going on behind the scenes. I would love to have both, if possible!

We’ve been down this road before with prior recruits (Hootie), seems like a Saban ploy before early signing to Fk with our current class

No vol, no care

I'm being told the complete opposite. He's such a tremendous athlete that he could play a lot of places but his preference is coming off the edge. I told my friend he could be the next Chaisson and he said that's correct. He added that Demouy will be signing early so we may just get lucky. Isn't there at least one recruiting day surprise every year? This would be an awesome one!

My question as well.
I’d have a spy on him all weekend. First mention of Bama to anyone and id escort him from the building.

Don’t worry. He isn’t coming this weekend.
The OP is trolling. Check his post history

Maybe he’s changed his mind, or we’ve changed our sales pitch

“Bama, they had me as a hybrid and that’s what I’ve always wanted to play,” Kennedy told 247Sports. “I feel like that’s what I’m good at playing. LSU, they had me as just a pass rusher and they told me they weren’t going to drop me in coverage. I didn’t like that. I went with what’s best for me. It was between the battle of LSU and Bama. And when I found out how both were going to use me I knew what I wanted to do.
