Watched a few videos from various Michigan outlets and they are raving about his versatility and athleticism. He’s reportedly 6-3 and upto 188 from 155 when he arrived. Apparently he’s in the running to start at cornerback. Multiple videos says he’s running in 4.2 range.

It’s crazy that we spent all that time trying to get Jacoby Matthews and his teammate who was committed to Norte dame while Kelly was there could end up being the better of the two.

Multiple videos showing the person making the statement is not a reliable source of truthful information.

Hey I can’t verify it. I have heard it multiple times since the spring. Sam Webb from the wolverine was on the Cover 3 pod talking about it to Bud Elliot. That’s what made me do a deep dive.

The only thing I can find that isn't a rumor on a fan site is this

quote:

40 Low: 4.36 40 Time: 4.46 40 High: 4.53

We don't know if he can cover, stay healthy, or even if wanted to be here. Can't take every player every year. Good for him if he ends up with a great career after turning himself into a player with hard work.

I coached him in HS.
He doesn’t run 4.2, but high 4.3 is possible.

He ran 22.4 mph at an Alabama camp his senior year. That would have been the second fastest on the Bama team.

Had an offer to go to Bama and late from LSU to play corner, but wanted to play WR so went to michigan. Now he’s at corner anyway.

Also a great kid. ACT and GPA to get into Michigan without help.

We always have those under the radar players that LSU doesn't see or until now had the 25 roster restrictions but kids that keep popping up on NFL rosters three or four years later.

Good kid and player by all accounts. 4.2 would surprise me but it’s not totally unheard for a guy to find another gear when they get older. Best thing happened to him was being on a different team than Kody Finley.
