You're right....there are plenty of 2010 recruits and their parents all over the RB right now. Let's look at it like this.....have you ever been in or seen the LSU student section in action??? They have said much worse to opposing players and fans and no one seems to have a problem with that. The same thing is going on here....people are caught up in the moment and talking out their arse. It's not like anyone on here is gonna take a tire iron to his kneecaps.

You can't? 3 days? I do a lot of shite in 72 hours and I promise you when I am facing a life desicion I may change my mind 100 times.

You really don't see the difference here? Come on, I know you're a smart guy. Sure you can change your mind 100 times, at some point though, you have to actually make a decision.

After taking his visit to Tennessee, sitting down with his parents, weighing all his options, he came out and announced that he was 100% solid to LSU. Then 3 days later changed his mind? What could have happened in those 3 days to change his mind?

So now we can't take JJ at his word when he says he knew he'd be going to Tennessee when he visited there, AND you're saying that he could have been 100% solid to LSU on Feb 1 but then somehow, in a span of 3 days where he's not allowed to talk to coaches, he all of a sudden decides that he made the wrong decision 3 days ago?

So I take it you're not going to be joining in the riot festivities we are having outside of his house this weekend in LC?

No one has a problem with it? That's why the Band quit playing certain songs after the SS was acting like asses. That's why Glenn Dorsey and Charles Scott put out memos to the SS last year and the year before?

Still doesn't show LSU in a favorable light.

I don't see why not? It's not a hard concept to grasp really.

Agree. Just because you 'can' do something doesn't mean you should or can't be called on it.

no excuse. it still shows a lack of class for some people here.

you want somebody wishing injury or death on your kid and then defend it by saying "oh i was just caught up in the moment and talking out my azz"?

To who??? You, me and some other random Tennessee and Bama fans. If I see an article in the paper tomorrow that their house burned down then I can see where it might be a problem.

It's pretty sad to see. It was the kids choice and he made it. It is pathetic so many grown men cry like this over something so trivial. Big deal. The kid made what he felt was the best choice for him. Save me the crap about him lying or stringing LSU along. In the end he was just looking out for what he felt was his best interest. If any of you have never done the same then go ahead and call him out but if not you are just being a hypocrite.

Stout, good post! Most of these morons were never 17 y/o before as well as a blue-chip recruit. Bad enough his dad is in Ohio, mom in Cali., and the kid has no one(family) to turn in tuff times. Good thing we don't have a military rant here, grown men would be fighting over a kid joining/not joining a certain branch of the armed forces. I heard this kid had a recent meniscus tear surgery. Maybe he may never see a playing field again. Only God knows, I hope this kid is following His direction.

Are you dumb, naive, or just ignoring facts on purpose? What part of recruits and their families read this board do you not understand? Look at dmitch for example.

Regardless if the recruit reads it or not, he gets told about it...by someone that read it.

i just think it was more that he wasnt solid to LSU when he said he was.

he had Kiffen in his ear telling him to keep quiet about him wanting to be at LSU.

JJ said that when he visited Tenn he knew thats where he wanted to be. the coaches probably told him to say that he was solid to LSU, and thats what he did.

Maybe I will be a little more versed once I get to my 50,000th post. Until then...yes, please do. This is the same shite that goes on at every big SEC team forum. I am not making excuses for them...just want you realize that they are fanatics and are not alone. They are just as classless and careless as any of the posters at Florida, Bama, Georgia, Tenn and the rest.
