Keep in mind I only watched about 3 seconds of LSU Basketball last year, but that was one of my key takeaways.

think he's a good player. Perhaps Wade wants to bring in a graduate transfer to give Mays a year to improve.

If he comes in and plays like Charles Carmouche did in a similar capacity would be a great addition to the team.

I've been banging the drum for a pure PG for awhile. This team just didn't have good enough ball handling or facilitators last season and it showed. Mays can get there, but it takes time and you can never have too many good ones. I would sign one or two PGs a year. Worst case they can play off the ball and most are usually good shooters anyway. Hell Kentucky started 3 guys this year that would have been lead guards anywhere else. Its all about signing more speed and getting quicker..

True pg's don't want to play off ball, so it would be impossible to get that many on your roster. That would also overload your roster with too many guards and give you no depth in the post.

Mays did a good job this year, yall are tripping he will be a good guard in this league, the way he was used he had no structure so he had ups and downs as a freshman, the dude shoot got better and he can finish in the lane. In college he can play on the ball or off the ball, and in college you need your guards to inter change some. He will have a great second season, him and this guy could both play in the back court together.

Agree, especially when you think about the kind of defense Wade wants to play.

Is there an easy way to see what offers Wade has given out?

No. Unfortunately the coverage of LSU basketball sucks. Of course LSU basketball sucks, so I can't really blame the media for not covering it.

It would be nice if these recruiting services had timelines or something like that. 247 just groups them by position then you have to click on the player and find when he got offered.

Lots of interest in guards,I'm hoping that means Kiir and or jeremy Combs is a done deal. And now they are adding a guard with experience .

If Blakeney returns, I think you will see him respond to real coaching. The sky is the limit now for him. I think he is actually a SG, but his vertical leap he may have to play the 4 due to lack of big men. I think he is a natural catch and shoot player. Here's hoping he returns. He's made for up tempo.

This is almost as stupid as claiming Trindon Holliday would have made a good DE.

he's an undersized 2 guard, he can have a 69 inch vertical and he still couldn't guard a power forward in the sec

The Daryl Edwards kid is the No. 23 JC player in the country according to JUCORecruiting.com.

Which doesn't mean a whole lot other than that he's pretty highly rated, and if he comes he could be a reasonably decent replacement for Blakeney. He's about the same size.
