114th ranked kicker in the class, seems more like a favor than an actual prospect to kick

Not at all. If a kid doesn't spend big money to do camps and travel around the country to showcase himself, it hurts his rankings.
He went to one camp that I know of and out of a few hundred kickers, he ended up in the final 2 and went kick for kick I think up to 55 yards against the #1 ranked kicker. Aidan's kick hit the upright and the other kid made his.
Aidan went from unranked to #114.

This is definitely not a favor. He's talented.

Yeah, I'm sure the recruiting services did a better job than LSU on scouting 113 KICKERS ranked ahead of him

So we have two scholarship kickers in this class?

Aidan is a very talented high school kicking prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a live leg. Aidan shows that he can hit an excellent ball at times on field goal. He makes nice contact and easily has 50+ yard range. Aidan is ready to move to the ground. His kickoffs are strong. He drives the ball into the end zone with good hang time. A competitor that does well under pressure. I look forward to seeing what the future holds. Aidan should have a big junior season. He has the tools to challenge for a TOP 12 Spot at Vegas XXXIX in January. He is a fine young man that is a pleasure to work with. Strong prospect.

He went to a couple of Kohl’s camps too. He kicks at Hammer kicking camps and does quite well, although that service is purely recruiting/coaching and there is no ranking.
He can kick very well. My son has kicked with him a ton of times. My son was surprised he wasn’t offered at Tulane.

We offered a ‘24, Aeron…by all accounts what looks to be a scholarship (though it’s difficult to verify).
Aiden is a ‘23, and will be on campus next year, he is a PWO.

Where's your kid gonna go, Gaston?
The #1 kicker in the country has to have some awesome offers!

Who knows? Next month means everything. He’ll kick at his 4 top SEC schools and see where it goes from there.

Speaking of kickers....going after the very best kickers and punters is really important these days. I have no problem getting aggressive in this area.
Nailing 50 yarders shortens the field and demoralizes the opponent....same with deep, well placed punts.

Best of luck to him. Look forward to following him wherever he goes.

Smaller than I expected.
John must have married him a petite coonass girl because #40 was a bit of a beefcake as a kicker.

BK and staff has no ties to that family. It’s not a favor.

as if they would let him wear #7. He could be a All-American and he wouldn't get 7
