Rather have LJ Johnson than Wheaton.

Heard that LJ Johnson has family that was LSU, but haven't confirmed that yet. I'm friends with a former player, who lives in Houston, which is where the info came from on LJ.

Probably too small for the SEC.

This kid has speed but nothing else. Doesn't like contact and is smaller than listed. He might be 5'10 160#. In two games I saw him this year he took himself out after being hit. He didn't really produce in either game other than a couple of catches as a Receiver. No chance he becomes a College Running Back.

Definitely not currently SEC caliber. You can say he has speed, but elite level prospects also have that same speed but with size to boot.

I could easily see him putting on weight and being a nice change of pace back, the same was said about Travis Etienne (whose little brother also has an LSU offer, 2022 kid.

He is a redshirt freshman, so yeah he would still be in his technical Junior year and have a year of eligibility afterward.

bma28 you are sadly misinformed about him. He's not 5" 10 160. He's 5" 11 190 solid. The kids only has 2% body fat. The games you claim you saw, he didn't take himself out and it was the coaches call to pull him out those games. Don't fault a player for bad coaching. FYI he played that whole season with torn ligaments in his wrist and a high ankle sprain. Ahmonte is more than capable of being a college back.

What does him being 18 has to do with anything? He played hurt the whole season. You would be stiff too if your playing with injuries. But he still manage to rush for 800+ yards during the season.

His dad had world class speed in high school and college track. This kids reminds me of his dad on the track. If he can run a 4.21 in the 40 like his dad did in high school man he would be nice in the backfield like Holiday.

Hey look I’m not hating,

just some context for development purposes, he’s a little old for his grade that’s all.

That’s a nice offer list

Is he playing in Texas now?

Didn't say you was hating or anything of that nature. Just ask a question as to what his age has to do with him being a baller. No harm done! I was responding to the haters who think they know much about the kid. Yes he is playing in Texas now.
