Not good, b/c he's the one that's had direct contact w/ Steen's father for last couple of months.
Saban can suck an aids di@k, and wouldn't be upset if the kid never plays a snap for the Tide b/c he gets passed up by one of the 5* OTs already on roster.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news (not 100% official yet, just not looking good at all).

Just like they didn't need a TE, yet took Lewis anyway. They couldn't have cared less about him, but then literally offered him days after Kelly/Denbrock did.
LSU offered on January 12th.
Saban extended an offer to him a week later.

It definitely feels that way.
Freaking reminds me of that shite bear Bryant used to do back in the day to prevent good players from going to Auburn.
It’s these kind of situations that make me somewhat glad that A&M was able to buy their number one overall class last cycle - and it’s because you know how pissed off that made Saban.
Just makes me a little happy knowing he’s at least getting f@cked in the a$$ by someone.

No I don’t believe he did it just to piss LSU off.
I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that he did it in order to prevent LSU from getting a good player and becoming a better team.

While Sheen is annoying because he’s a grad transfer, guys like Lewis don’t hurt as much with the portal and one time transfer rule in place. I believe many of these guys that go OOS end up back home if they don’t get immediate playing time.

Steen will probably start the OOC games and maybe the first Conference game vs Vandy. After that it's back to original recruits. Can you imagine Brockermeyer et al... having to sit behind a Grad Transfer?
That would be some nice fodder for negative recruiting, eh?
And if he were to make waves/complain about PT Saban can chop him off at the knees further by not endorsing him to the NFL Scouts and his pal Belechick.

If we aren't the threat who is? Please tell me. No one has had the success that Bama has and no one is on their level the past 15 years but the one team that is the closest is LSU. Saban knows and understands this and while he doesn't have to will definitely do things to weaken this program while simultaneously strengthening his.

Steen has a 91 rating (4*) as a transfer portal prospect.
You are correct that he was a low 3* coming out of high school, but he’s rated much higher as a portal prospect

You’re clueless if you don’t think Sabin views LSU as a potential threat.
Do you not recall what he was able to build during his time in Baton Rouge - he’s well aware of the potential LSU has and he’s going to do everything he can to gain and hold onto competitive edge over LSU and every other SEC West opponent
