1. There isn't a coach in America that does less with more than Kirby. He's a horrible coach, and horrible developer of talent. HORRIBLE. With all that talent, he still can't get it done. I'll never be afraid of facing them.

2. I'll be anxious to see in a few years how McGlothern stacks up against him. Call me a homer, but I feel like we have the better player.

He is loading up for sure but yea it’s not really a big deal bc he does nothing with it

If a kid doesn’t come here, I’d rather he go to Georgia than bama or Clemson or Ohio state

Eventually you recruit so many 5 stars that it doesn't matter.

Their defense is already there. Their O-line, RB, and WR recruiting is off the charts, so it's hard to imagine they won't be fielding a top 10 offense in the near future as well.

This will be the fourth straight year that Alabama and Georgia finish with the top 2 classes in the SEC.

Hard to deny this...and high ranked kids continue to go there.

If you watch the practices on YT, Ringo was outstanding. Then in this game, they didn’t even challenge him. No targets to his side.

But I love what I saw out of McGlothern. Built like a Greedy and made big plays like him, too. Anybody know his speed?

I agree except that IMO, the game has evolved so much recently to where the QB position essentially determines how far you will go. Recently, you could get there with good QB play if you had talent all over the field.

But now, elite QB play is essential if you want to make the playoffs. So I guess my point is that he can have all these 5 star players but if he can't get a QB to play worth a shite it won't matter.

Yep. Mediocre QB play is unacceptable for Championship football. Mond, Trask, Nix...all prove the point. Very few great teams start mediocre QBs.

Nature hates a vaccum. Les left so that void needed to be filled. Kirby filled the void. Don't argue with me. It's fricking science.

I agree. Which is why I've been vocal about our QB recruiting.

Clemson adds DJ.

Alabama adds Bryce Young.

Ohio State adds Stroud.

These other schools just regularly reload with 5* QBs and continue right along with their offenses each year. LSU clearly isn't there yet.

You guys that say this shite are idiots. You dont seem to realize coaches improve. Was Saban the coach he turned out to be when he was at Michigan St? Was Orgeron the coach he is today when he was at Ole Miss? How about Dabo when he was in his 4th year at Clemson? Kirby is building a dynasty and most of you are so biased towards LSU you cant come up with a single objective thought.

Next year. Many of these QBs commit early on now and they had made up their minds or trimmed their lists before we showed that the big early numbers whereby a fluke. We were never going to be a major player for a big time QB this year. However, you have to have depth. We have had 3 or fewer scholarship QBs for 3 years and that is not acceptable. This year’s guys will provide that, even if they transfer out in a couple of years. For evidence of this, look at Trask at UF. He waited after losing out to Franks and ended up the starter with Franks likely transferring. Look at UK having to play at WR at QB because of injuries.

As long as Brennan looks good and the offense is still looking good next year, we will be in it with one or more of the top QB recruits. No doubt. I’m convinced we close the deal this time, which puts us right back in prime position again.

Reading through interviews various prospects have given it’s apparent that Kirbys best pitch seems to be negative recruiting

Gotta tip your hat to the guy. Negative recruiting, creatively “selling” his program....he’s seemed to have caught up to saban on that front

Hopefully Orgeron can close a little better going forward

The amount of talent being stockpiled at Georgia is incredible. If they ever figure out how to develop and coach those guys on Saturday’s, look out

A dynasty? Are you fricking serious?

He is not a dominant coach and his current staff isn’t up to the standards of his first group. Like O, without great assistants around him, he isn’t going to win big. He didn’t make great hires the second time around with some of these guys.

He will also be held back by his conservative offense if he doesn’t come to his senses like Saban did. NO coach is winning titles playing his style and speed of offense today. I don’t need to be a UGA apologist or an LSU homer to see these facts.
