They sure are getting shite on in recruiting by a school that doesn’t have “””nEaRLy aS mUcH mOneY aS tHeM”””. I guess endowment money doesn’t actually translate to recruiting funds like they pretend it does. Now that other states have caught up to their NIL laws and people in Louisiana and other SEC states won’t go straight to jail for buying recruits we’re seeing quite the shift in recruiting prowess.
Remember when all those guys were committing to A&M because they have such a great program and definitely not because they were being promised a ton of money? Why isn’t that still happening 4 months later?

I am stunned that LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Bama, and UGA are able to compete with schools in Texas with middling records.

Should’ve committed to a real school and not a cult led by the biggest slimeball in college football
can’t wait to see how many of the four or five 5* DT’s and the 5 or 6 highly rated DB’s they signed last year hang around to sit on the bench for 4 years and make no money when the only reason they committed to A&M in the first place was just that

When the dust settled on that 2022 class of theirs, many people questioned how Jumbo was going to keep control over the locker room... It appears as though it's not going well. Certainly their usual 4-5 losses will help

Lol this class is going to get jimbo fired. He can't manage that locker room, his class this year sucks and he will lose the annual 4 or 5 games, I could see them firing him

I think the rumors about misleading "NIL" offers are coming from people involved with A&M. They made big promises but they put attachments on those big promises and recruits didnt like the fine print that they learned later was included. This explains a guy like Jacoby Mathews and maybe even a guy like Denver Harris. Who knows to be honest and we will definitely know more moving forward or when the 2022 guys can enter the transfer portal.

They better hope the price of oil stays at $100 a barrel. He has a 10 year rolling contract of guaranteed $100 million minimum.
